Blackberry 8520 Curve Deals

By Phil Spearmon

The blackberry 8520 Curve deal is the latest in the line of blackberry phones and has its positive as well as negative aspects. It does have its usual look of elegance that comes with the Blackberry and has dimensions of 109 x 13.9mm. The TFT screen however is rather small at 2.4 inches when compared to the other latest mobile phone screens which are at least 3 inches diagonally. However the screen display is bright and clear and has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels.

The camera of the Blackberry 8520 comes with only 3.2 mega pixels which are considered rather low when compared to even the low end cameras of today. It is however possible to take bright and clean photographs from this phone camera which is normally saved into its memory which is 256MB. You can if you like, expand its memory by installing a 32GB memory card which will provide you with enough and more memory to last a very long time. It has a good back up battery with at least 400 stands by hours which are indeed a very useful feature.

A better feature of the Blackberry 8520 Curve however is the optical track pad and the keyboard which has slightly raised keys to make it easy for texting. Being primarily a message phone, this feature makes it more convenient than the touch screen for those who need to access their emails and send out mail in a hurry. It has all the features for playing music in most formats such as WAV. MP3, WMA etc. The ringtones too can be selected as per the preference of the user which makes it ideal for the music lover.

The negative features of the Blackberry 5820 curve deal; apart from its low resolution camera are, it does not have the features of a good web browser and or options for connectivity which makes it less attractive to those who are on the look out for a phone that have good browsing features. The screen also does not look very appealing and is 2.4 inches diagonally, which seems rather small compared to screens on most modern phones today.

The Blackberry 8520 curve comes with some great deals where Vodafone offers the phone free for a 25 monthly rental phone contract. You also have the advantage of getting a sim free phone with different networks such as Virgin, Vodafone and T-mobile. The other great attraction are the free deals that come with this phone including laptops, iPhones, gaming consoles, LCD TV's which makes this mobile phone draw in the crowds like moths to a flame.

You can opt to buy the Blackberry 8250 curve in frost or black that comes with a corner rubber edging that makes it easy on the hand. Although this great looking phone does not have features such as 3G and GPS, the features that it does have more than compensates because this particular Blackberry happens to be a very user friendly phone that has all the important features but can be purchased at a very good price.
