Concerning Cash For Mobile Phones

By Ara Spragins

Most of the churches has a youth group just like ours. And us youth have plenty of things in mind that we want to do for the church. To support activities in the church, the youth members are doing some fundraising to raise money for certain projects or activities. Selling is one way of doing fundraising. Stuffs like candles, wreaths, and pies are very common goods that are easily sold. Selling always does not give them enough funds. So they needed a newer approach in fundraising. They will raise more funds by selling old and unused mobile phones.

They asked everyone in the church to donate their old and unused phones by putting it inside the box as the donation. To sell your phones, numerous sites are available online to choose from. Companies will buy any old phones that can be reused and recycled, even the oldest models can be sold to the recyclers. I was able to sell my old phone for 2 dollars. My contribution to this kind of recycling was my old Granite phone..I couldn't believe people have old phones that are not being used. with more companies releasing newer phone models each day, people are now racing to change their phones to newer ones. The idea was so good I have to grab the opportunity.

When you search for available companies to sell your phone, look for the make and model of the phone. In this way, it is much easier to process the transaction. After that, a price will be given for your phone. Most of the companies offering this kind of transaction will be the one to pay for the shipment fee of the phone. So all you need to do is just wait for the envelope that will be sent to you. Once you receive the envelope, send it back to them the phone with the charger. It is the easiest way.

After you receive the envelope, use it to send it back to the company by simply taking it to the post office or put it inside your mailbox. Shipment fee is already handled by the company, so there's no need to worry about the fees. After all the process, you just need to wait. Once the phone is checked by the company, they will send you a check with the agreed amount. Waiting for the check to arrive is usually the hardest part. Once they receive the old phone, companies will then check the phone if it fits the description from the form you have entered and the required parts are present.

Most of the phones bought by these companies are being donated to charity and different agencies. Some of the phones which are not donated will be reconstructed and repaired. Women who are in women shelters also benefit from this. Phones were also donated to them. Phones purchased are also given to those with disabilities so that they can use it especially when they are being taught with different skills needed. My church really came up with the good idea of recycling phones. Not only were they helping the environment by recycling, they were also able to raise enough funds for various activities that they want to organize.
