New Approach For Looking Up People

By Naciosello Directorio

Last century saw more inventions than the whole recorded history of mankind.

We tend to believe that computer tech world is the one that's seeing the biggest amount of progress. Nothing can be further from the truth! Health and medicinal world is the one with the most new discoveries. And it's not really surprising if you read the medical publications.

Every month there is a big new announcement being made by the medical community. This is not to say that IT is lagging far behind either. Information technology has seen its fair share of growth also. Unfortunately some of it is quite controversial. Let's take reverse phone book lookup as an example. Before if you wanted to get a name of a person you would need to manually look for the phone number in a telephone book. Can you imagine sifting through all of these phone numbers? I sure can't.

One can find out a lot of things using telephone digits. How easy is that? Unless the person protects this information you can get his home address and more. A mobile phone lookup might provide you with even more surprising information. GPS and Cell Tower search might disclose the current physical location of the cell owner!

You get so much information based on only one variable. The potential provided by this reverse phone directory lookup is absolutely amazing. For example you are now able to find the address of a person who has been harassing you over the phone. Also, you can find information on the company that called you and whose call you missed. You can run a reverse phone number lookup on an unknown number if you were expecting an important call.

Unfortunately the bad guys can take advantage of the situation as well. A sexual predator might use this to find the address of his victim.

In any case, even if some bad guys decide to use reverse phone lookup, it remains a very useful service, which we should all have access to. Their bad deeds should not prevent us from enjoying this service. In my opinion banning reverse phone look up, would be like banning forks, just because someone can use it as a weapon.
