Prepaid Account for Inmates

By Elmer Ortiz

V-Connect offers you the best way to remain connected with your near or dear incarcerated inmates in any correctional institution, so long as that institution is participating in its service program. With my vconnect account, the member can enter the telephone number and the access Pin and view the balance in the prepaid account or any other details. Every time you receive a call, the amount along with an applicable tax is reduced from the prepaid amount. My Vconnect account is a service by Value Added Communications, Inc.

If the correctional institute is serviced by Value Added Communications, then you are allowed to receive calls from the inmate even if for some reason the traditional collect calling has been banned for that number. If I set up my Vconnect account, then the cost is reduced from my Advance payment and the collect call restriction is ignored or bypassed.

It is possible to set up my Vconnect Account with a debit card, credit card, money order or a cashier check. The inmate can call the family member, who is the member, from the correctional facility at once. All the member has to do is to sign up by going totheir website and if I am already a member, then I can add funds to the existing account by signing in.

www.offenderconnect.con is another website that offers the service of staying in touch with your loved ones housed in a jail. Various services such as adding money to the inmate's commissary account or the phone account is possible. Emailing service is also provided through www.offenderconnect.con in a fast manner. Twenty four hour service is provided at www.offenderconnect.con and the signing up process is free. There is no need for any tiresome trips to the jail and wait to put in the money or call up the DSI-ITI, LLC for account updates.

You can also view the recent transactions on www.offenderconnect.con and take a print of your monetary statements online. You can be assured that your credit card information is safe. You can thus save time and money and still remain in touch with the loved ones who are inmates in jails and other similar institutions.
