By Sarah Walker

Here you will learn the best methods of using your iphone solar case so you get the most out of it. You will know how to determine charge times, where to charge, how to use, and my solar charger experience. Additionally, if you follow this simple article, you too will know how to get the most use out of the charger.

If you are reading this, then you want to learn more about the iphone solar charger which means you are at the right place, let's begin. First, you have to unpack the Solar Surge and make sure you have all the contents, the instruction booklet, the USB Cable, and of course the solar charger. Be sure to check the Surge itself, if you see a plastic film piece on the solar powered charger, just remove it. It is a manufacturer's protective film. It is like the same type of film used when you first get a new phone that you simply peel off, this is the same thing.

Make sure your computer is next to you and that it has a USB available. Plug the USB from the Surge to your computer's USB port. You are to charge the iphone solar charger for 3 hours. You are doing this so that the internal battery gets a full charge. After the 3 hours, simply unplug both ends and insert your phone into the Surge. Now make sure you DO NOT Force the phone into the Surge. You could damage the unit and your iphone, you have to remember that iphone is made for the Surge, hold the phone at the top of the solar charger and slide it into the groves until it is seated on the 30 pin connector.

After this part, the solar powered charger is good to go. Just go on with your life like regular, head to work, the mall, park, and any other place you might end up. Just forget about the charger, if you do not and just think about the charger, it will drive you nuts, trust me. After some time, you will realize that you want to use the solar power. And of course you would, that is one of the reasons you bought the charger. Listen up, because this is one of the things you will want to know to get the most use out of your charger.

This is a tool that is needed if your own Surge. It is the Solar Planner for the iPhone. It has the ability to tell you exactly how long to keep the Surge in the sun once you select the desire function will want to use. After you choose, the time will read at the bottom and you will then know the exact time length to have it under the sun. This App really helps in figuring out all this solar power math techno jargon.

Here are some recommendations of where you should place the iphone solar charger when you are ready to charge it. If you are at the office, I suggest you place it in front of your window sill if available, if not, on the computer desk as long as you have sunlight coming through the windows, place the charger in front of it. You will see a little red light on the Surge come on, but make sure you do not stand in front of the light when you check the red indicator light. If you are at home, do the same thing. Additionally, I have done some testing and you can charge it with indoor lighting, but the Surge has to be in front of the bulb very close. I recommend you stick with the outdoor lighting. If you are at the beach, whenever you are not using the solar charger, leave the Surge upwards facing the sun. And if you are using it, do the same thing.

This is how I use my iphone solar case, I will charge the iphone with the regular cable at night and the Solar Surge with the USB Cable and charge throughout the night. In the morning or whenever I am about to leave for work, I take both the iPhone and Surge with me. I usually will leave the Surge in my passenger seat until I actually get into my office. And leave it face up to have sun shining on it just to make sure I get a full amount of sun. Then I head off to work with the iphone in the charger.

On Fridays, I change my routine up so that I get a full charge on my iphone by during this. I will head to the office like before, but at 2pm I put the solar case back in my car and leave it on my dash board. And of course I leave the window cracked so there is a slight breeze and the charger does not overheat. And then when I get off of work, all of us head to the bar or something and my iphone is fully charged. This way I know it is ready for the night. So you can see, I have a whole system so that I get the most use out of my iphone solar case and I hope you do the same.
