Critiques of Mobile Phones

Palm Treo 680 - We have been discussing Palm Treo personal digital assistants in our reviews. The company never failed its customers in a single feature. With companies like Nokia, Samsung, Motorola and specially Sony Ericsson coming up with cell phone with 'all in one' multimedia capabilities, Palm Treo continues its trend to provide users the best for the minimum price. The 680 by Palm Treo was announced in October 2006 and was released at the end of November. The device comes in traditional Palm Treo style. The available colors are graphite, crimson, arctic and copper. However graphite was sold a lot because it was the only color on the Cingular package.

Motorola E815 - Motorola being the second largest mobile manufacturer, is on the carriers support list for long time. Since the introduction of V Cast, Verizon is looking for cell phones which could support its high profile network. E815 by Motorola was the perfect choice for Verizon. The flip cell phone measures 3.7x1.9x1 inches and weighs a little above 4.5 ounces. E815 is available in silver and gray combination color with exterior retractable antenna. There is a LED flash below on the left. The camera is just above the exterior screen of the flip handset.

Nokia 5300 - During the first quarter of 2006, Sony Ericsson clearly dominated cell phone industry because of its music cell phones. The domination continued because there was no such true competitor. But later on we found famous manufacturers followed the trend and introducing music cell phones. Nokia released its 5300 to break down Sony Ericsson's music cell phone market. 5300 looks a bit bulky with size measurements of 3.6 by 1.9 by 0.8 inches but its feather light with weight just above 3.5 ounces. The Xpress cell phone looks good in red/white or traditional black/white combinations. The slider functionality works perfect.

Samsung SCH-A990 - Previously, we had cell phones with only two features, call making and text messaging. Later on we got cell phones with some minimum of software applications, games etc. Nowadays we got cell phone hard ware became so much complex, it includes everything from camera to mp3 playing and GPS and FM capabilities. Samsung became the first cell phone manufacturer to ever introduce a 3.2 mega pixel camera in a cell phone SCH-A990. The smart little flip open has size measure of At 3.8 by 1.8 by 0.8 inches and weight around 4 and a half ounces. The flip can be twisted up to 180 degrees clock wise. The left spine contains music control buttons, headset port and SD expansion slot.

Palm Treo 700w - Palm Treo w series was introduced with an intention to create an all in one Personal digital assistant which can support various general purpose and multimedia applications. The series was started with Palm Treo 700w. Palm Treo physical measurements came out good enough to declare it a sleek device in Personal digital assistant category. 4.4 by 2.3 by 0.9 inches and weight slightly lower than 6 and a half ounces, gives PDA a solid construction and just perfect for business and corporate use. Charcoal black and sliver combination suits Palm Treo very well.

Nokia N93 - The famous N series by Nokia is continuously climbing up in cell phone markets. The series has numerous pros and cons but never the less; it is coming up with cell phones that Nokia itself call as multimedia computers. N 93, one of the most famous of all N series cell phone finally arrived with bundle of features. The cell phone is one hell of a multimedia device bringing each and every technology feature in one box.
