How to Improve Mother-Daughter Relationship

It has been told time after time that being a mother is the most fulfilling thing that a girl could ever experience. But in our society today where there are way more distractions that may make a opening between mother and daughter, it is tough to meet the duties of being a mom.

Technology is the largest distraction to that and manifestly the hardest gap to fill. Kids are always on the telephone or with their friends so it is actually tough to spend some quality time with their kids.

But did you know you can really use technology to build a more robust relationship with your daughter? And really, all it takes is one phone call.

In a study by the Varsity of Wisconsin- Madison, it showed that when a child hears encouraging words from their mum over the telephone, this would help highly help them when they're stressed out.

The study showed that chatting over the phone is as useful as actually being together. The study also showed that SMS or instant messaging isn't as effective when it comes to inspiring your daughter.

In this study, 68 girls who had good relationships with their mummy were asked to communicate about a certain subject for five minutes and another five minutes was spent in solving mental arithmetic problems. These tests were done to somehow unlawful a higher stress level.

After which, some of them were called by their moms and were given inspiring words. Those that did speak with their mom and pop definitely felt miles better and people who didn't had higher degrees of stress.

Isn't it excellent that you could use technology to build more sound relationships with your children?

Now, aside from that regular telephone call, you need to also try to listen more to your girl. Ask them how their day is going or if they have any issues. The key to a good and robust relationship is actually all about communication.

You need to also think of more tactics to spend time together. It does not have to be done outside or out of town- though that will be fun! You can just spend a quiet day at home watching TV or doing some crafts together. Of course, to make this experience better, ask your youngster what it is that they want to do.

You see, moms and girls can be best chums! Actually they ought to be best mates because at some point soon, daughters will change into mothers too. And when that day comes, they will need you to help them and give them your information, adore and care.
