They simply didn't feel like Sony quality whatsoever, unsure if Sony is going cheep on us or what but steer clear of these cans like the plague. It is true!!
I usually have a test I use on all my new headphones and speakers, I refer to it as "The Wound" Test. The Sony earcups don't swivel from right-to-left, but only up-and-down. My first impression was these things are huge! Overall, considering the price, they are an excelent deal. The construction is super lightweight. They are not portable whatsoever, but overall excellent for the cost and they are excellent headphones.
They are truly comfy and the quality of sound is excellent. So I began searching for Amazon and found these cool headphones for much less.
Considering the price of the gear it's one of the best headphones of the market.
Purchase Sennheiser HD202 instead!!! There's only really two bad things I'm able to find about these infrared wireless headphones. The ten foot cord is a big plus also.
Fantastic pair of headphones. You won't be dissapointed.
They likewise have great isolation. I work in the world of audio/video production, so I have a constant requirement for headphones and other electronics. It might be especially obvious when listening to digital songs. The sound ranges are not high, and the sound isn't contained. Sound- Incredible. The bass doesn't over power the mids or highs which is ideal for me. The one trouble with these headphones are that they are a huge, which means you kind a look goofy putting them on outdoors, they're big on the head, you'd look like and astronaut. My hearing aids have blue-tooth capability to be able to send songs straight to them, it shuts the microphones off to ensure that I am unaware of the telephone ringing or someone approaching behind me. I'd like these better if they did not have this type of wide look. Great sound and strong bass, distinct treble and vocals with these rf wireless headphones. The low ones sound perfectly and never distort the sound.

They're tough to fit these acoustic research wireless headphones in a bag and travel with. I was looking specifically for over-head rf wireless headphones to help dampen the noise in the environment sometimes.
