Looking For A Suitable Postpaid Plan?

By Cathy Joseph

I was planning to buy a BlackBerry 8900 on other hand I was also looking for a postpaid plan with a good internet connectivity. The one thing one should know about this phone is nothing if you don't have a internet access.

So I was searching for a postpaid plan which won't hurt my pocket. After much of search on almost all the telecom company in India. I landed on Reliance mobile they had a wide range of plans as if lined up only for me. After much of working I finally found a plan which won't hurt my pocket.

The Reliance E-lite postpaid plan. The service plan is offered with all BlackBerry smart phones available from Reliance Mobile.

This postpaid plan users can have unlimited access to email and instant messaging (IM) on their smart phones for just Rs. 299 per month.

This service plan offers unlimited access to the industry's leading email and instant messaging features, allowing its customers to access up to 10 supported POP3/IMAP email accounts (including most popular ISP email accounts such as Yahoo! Mail and Google Mail). Users can also view; popular attachment formats including JPEG, TIF, Microsoft(R) Word, Excel and Power Point(R) while on the move.

My Take: BlackBerry guys I don't think I should say anything on it. Well the only company with better smart phone in India. Whereas other smart phone company like Plam Pre skipped the Indian market. And I bet you never want to go for Nokia.

For guys who want to try BlackBerry there's a good news : It has come out with many initiatives for Indian market. In January it decided to come out with unlocked sets for Indian market. This will give its users an opportunity to rejoice as their expensive handset will not be slave of any single telecom operator and that they will be free to use whichever telecom service they wanted. These smartphones and service plans from supported carriers will initially be available across nine cities: Mumbai, Delhi, NCR, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, Pune and Ahmedabad.

I know the plan won't let you access other sites like facebook and myspace. But for starters as for me E-lite is the best. Any new user can start with E-lite. If at any point you think it's not working, you can always switch to your old network.
